Keelie Wright and her winning ways!!

Huge congratulations go to Keelie Wright in our Primary Seven class.

Keelie recently went to Blackpool to show and race her pigeons. She was hugely successful and gained trophies, plates and several certificates as our pictures demonstrate.

Keelie and her grandfather, Eamonn Wright, brought her pigeon and awards into school to discuss them in our School assembly. Her grandfather explained how competition judges look at the pigeon's, wings, beaks and tail feathers to award marks.  

The children in school were fascinated by Keelie's achievements and with her prizewinning pigeon!
